The board members of 2006 met for the third time this year on April 8^th.  They first surveyed the planned site of this year's Annual Meeting: Harvest Moon Restaurant (會賓樓) in Falls Church, Virginia.  In the meeting held at an Old Country Buffet afterwards board member responsibilities were finalized for the two upcoming April events: Integrated Medicine Seminar on Allergies (過敏氣喘中西醫雙效自療法) on April 22^nd and our Annual Tennis Social (網球交誼) on April 29^th.  Member responses to the March newsletter and new ways to serve members' needs were among the other issues discussed at the meeting.

Pre-registration is encouraged since seating is limited to 50. To register please contact Julie Du (蔡義方 703-734-8527) or Eric Chou (周冠中 301-219-9094).   There is a nomial charge of $3 dollars for non-members to cover miscellaneous costs, including hand-outs and light snack.   Paid members of NTUAA and family may attend for free.  The 3-dollar fee is also waived for senior citizens and students.  Please register early.  On the day of the event, please arrive before 1:45 pm for seminar will begin promptly at 2 pm.

Please mention your English name, phone number, male or female, adult or kid, and your USTA rating. For our March newsletter, we tried the HTML format and also injected pictures and Chinese characters.  We asked your input and comments on the new style.  Many of you responded.  In general, you said you liked the new style.  Some said they could not open the Chinese.   We are sending this newsletter in both the HTML and PDF formats.   Hope all can enjoy reading it.

Some of you inquired if the NTUAADC can help with alumni's job hunting, especially young graduate students, new to the area.  We thought, why not.  There are quite a few alumni-run businesses in this area, scientific, technical or otherwise.  If you need help, why not give the NTU graduate a priority consideration.  Quality guaranteed!   Please post your requirements to the newsletter editor or contact Dr. Kwo-Sen Kuo at 301-352-5779 or email: ntu2kuo@verizon.net.   This newsletter will serve as a conduit to match talents and businesses.
