Staying Healthy and Enjoying Spring...
Spring Events Planned with Emphasis on Health
The 2006 Board of Directors (BoD) held its second meeting of the year on February 25 to plan for this year's activities.   Many exciting events await our NTUAA members.  Two spring events are planned with emphasis on staying healthy and improving health.   These are designed to be informative, educational, and fun at the same time.  On April 22, it is the first seminar of a series on Integrated Medicine; both speackers of this event are proud alumni of NTU.
Exercise is also an integral part of staying healthy.  Therefore, on April 29 it is our Annual Tennis Social, which has been sponsored by NTU alumni for many years.  This year it will be held jointly by NTU and NCKU (成功大學).  Both events require pre-registration.  The following sections of this newsletter will give more details.

Thanks to our "very petite" VP Joanna Chen who recruited three (3) new members from the Baltimore area.  Joanna also contributed the article reporting the March 11 pot-luck gathering of NTU alumni in the Baltimore area.  Professor P. C. Huang (黃秉乾, 農藝 '52) spoke on Lost in Translation, but Found.  Please see attachment for her vivid description of Prof. Huang's speech.
